10 days ago I did a ride with Motsi but it never published. Here are the photos:

Last training ride as a whole team.

Today was the last whole team training ride because half of us have put our bikes in for a service so that they are in ship shape for the big challenge.
We went up to Bira today but as usual the ride didn't go without issues. James went over his handle bars at 0km/h and managed  to put an egg sized swelling on his shin.
It was one of our fastest rides with an average of 20.4km/h. Reaching a max speed of 50km/h!!!

It was a good evening since  we had 2 hours to ride. We did 31 km in 1 and a half hours and I led the way for most of it.

We  had a good laugh at the 7/11 because James was saying I could add my favourite recipe to the blog but not write about his epic 0km/h fall over his handle bars. Oops!

5 days left till the challenge begins!!!!!!!

I'm in the news!

Training with Mum.

Today I went riding with my mum and James.
We set off at 8 in the morning, did 41 km and came back at 10:30.
It was fun riding with my mum because I knew where we were going but she didn't so kept asking me when we might stop and where were going.
I found it hard to explain where we were going because when I cycle, I dont remember the route I just follow my dad.
It was tough going up the hills  and along the highway so we stopped at a temple to have a rest.
It wasn't too hot in the morning so that made it easier!

Transport is sorted!

Great News! The school has agreed to use the Round Square Special Projects fund to provide the transport and driver for the challenge. We will have one of these buses with us for the week.
Thank you Mr Blaikie and Kirsty.

First training ride with the whole team and introducing Cliff

Today was the first day the whole team has cycled together. It was a great ride today with the wind behind us but had a few problems with ourbikes.

The first problem we had was with Martin, we had to stop three times because his crank nearly fell off. We finally fixed it at a motor bike shop.
The next problem was with my bike. There was some tape that was put on my bike by the man who serviced our bikes and it got caught in my gears.
Then, Cliff's bike had a loose spindle on the rear wheel so his wheel was wedged against the frame and his brakes were jamming.

We managed to get back to school in good shape though!
Today we also got 4000 THB individual donations to this cause!!!
2000 THB from the Eatons!!!
And   2000 THB from the Pavan family!!!

Thank you again, and don't forget to donate!!!

Training with Martin Muñoz.

First training ride with Martin Muñoz.
We went down the 36 and turned of onto the Satahip by pass, then got to the lake and zoomed down the hill. We turned of to go past the dump and got home after 1:00.03 of cycling.
The toughest part of today was cycling into the wind. It was tough, even when we were all in a slip but we still made it home alive.
You can tell Martin was having a good time though!!!!

Solo Ride

Today I was suposed to go on a bike ride at 3 but didn't feel like it because I wanted to have a chill-out day. So my dad went on a ride with Will, Scott, James and Motzi. But then at 4 I decided to go on a ride by my self.
I went over the dam, up to Bira, down past a University, then back over the dam again. The wind was in my face for most of the way but I managed to get an average speed of 19.9km/h and a top speed of 56.2km/h.
I met my mum and sisters in different spots on my route but beat them to the 7/11 which was cool!!!
Don't forget to donate!!

Queen of the hill!

Wow! I did it! I'm Queen of the hill. I missed it the other day by 1 second, so today I gave it another go. I beat my time by 4 seconds so am Queen of the hill. I was so tired but still did it! Yay!
Great ride with Motzi.

Training with Strava.

Went around the lake today and managed to do it faster, probably because I have an app called Strava where you can do segments and get a "trophy" if you're the fastest out of all the people that try to do the segment.
I got second out of female riders in one of the segments. I missed it by one second!
Overall I am 11th and I beat Jon Crew so that's awesome!
